We are registered in England and Wales, company number 11462549, at Unit B2, Beacon House, Cumberland Business Centre, Northumberland Road, Portsmouth, PO5 1DS. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB648639.

What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information we collect through bunked.co.uk and in the course of letting our student properties.
Repairs and replacement keys are handled by Fairgroves
Tenancies in Bunked properties are managed by Fairgroves Estate Agents Ltd. If you report a repair or order a replacement key, the links on this site take you to Fairgroves, and the information you give is collected by Fairgroves under their privacy policy at fairgroves.co.uk/privacy. Bunked and Fairgroves share information about tenancies and properties so that your tenancy can be managed.
The information we collect
When you enquire about a room or house, or book a viewing, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, which property or city you are interested in, when you need it, and anything else you tell us.
If your enquiry becomes an application, we and Fairgroves collect the information needed to reference you and prepare a tenancy: your name, contact details, date of birth, current and previous addresses, student status and university, employment and income details where relevant, identity and immigration documents for Right to Rent checks, guarantor details, and details of the people you will live with.
During a tenancy we hold your tenancy records, rent payments, and correspondence with you.
Our website stores your cookie choice in your browser, so it doesn’t ask again. If you accept cookies, it also uses Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the site and how well our adverts work, and Microsoft Clarity, which records your visit: the pages you view and how you move, click, tap and scroll on them, so we can see where the site could work better. Clarity does not capture what you type into our forms. None of these run unless you accept, and you can change your choice at any time on our cookie policy page, which lists every cookie the site uses.

Who we share it with
We share personal information with Fairgroves Estate Agents Ltd, who manage our tenancies; with referencing and Right to Rent providers; with the tenancy deposit scheme that protects your deposit; with utility providers and the local authority where a tenancy requires it, including for council tax exemptions and HMO licensing; with your guarantor in relation to their guarantee; with contractors attending repairs; and with our professional advisers or debt recovery services where rent is unpaid.
If you are a student, we may confirm your tenancy to your university where they ask us and you have agreed.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Some of these suppliers are based outside the UK, or use servers outside it. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK we rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum approved by the Information Commissioner.

Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to receive certain information in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bunked.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
